Verona
is one of Northern Italy's loveliest and most artistically alluring cities.
Verona's picturesque centre set on the Adige river, is scattered with Roman and
medieval remains together with churches, monuments and a labyrinth of old
streets, every bit as romantic as when Shakespeare chose Verona as the
setting for 'Romeo and Juliet'. The story was based on true families and
their feuds, though the characters of Romeo and Juliet are ficticious, but it is
hard to resist the balcony at the Casa di Giulietta!
